Outstanding Writing and Compelling Storyline

This book is one of my favorite reads ever. Incredibly rich and beautiful prose. The story is told in a heartfelt, humble and insightful manner, and refreshingly has not woven in the exaggerated current day social themes seen in so many books and movies these days. Ordinary Grace is the perfect title. Read it and you will know why.

I read and loved The Housemaid (first one), tried to listen to this one by same author, but gave up halfway through. Writing was very elementary and juvenile, and plot uninteresting. So disappointed.

This was a surprisingly interesting and uplifting book. It took a lot of courage for Crystal to tell the story, and even more to accept herself and what shaped her life journey, for better or worse.

A few good takeaways but overall felt very liberally slanted. I felt the same objectives could have been achieved in sharing how super communicators connect well with others, by using different examples not so focused on the liberal agendas of our current day.
