I love this series. I love the ending of this book. I can't wait for more!!!! Craig Alanson is awesome. And I love to listen to R.C. Bray. love love love this series. I won't give details because of spoilers. this series is hilarious. laugh out loud. wonderful!!!!

Have you listened to any of Ray Porter’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I always enjoy Ray Porter's performances. He really does smart ass well. Ray Porter also does action really well. describing the different moves etc. there was less action in this book but the main character notices a lot of things and it is suppose to be sort of a side note. and like in the fast pace action scenes Ray Porter can really separate the side notes/ action from the main story line. He is awesome!

What made the experience of listening to Dark Recollections the most enjoyable?

I enjoyed the humor the most. The journal format is great because there is a lot that we can assume happens and if we need to know anything it will come up in Adrian's future journal entries. This does not create holes in the story line. You get the present with back stories and it all makes sense.

What other book might you compare Dark Recollections to and why?

Zombie Fallout - because of the Journal format and Humor and Day By Day Armageddon - because of the Journal Format

Which character – as performed by James Foster – was your favorite?

Adrian is my favorite.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I felt it was serious but very funny at the same time. How does that make sense? lol

I cant wait for new characters! Adrian is so lonely!

I really liked his journal entries but i loved the side stories that tie in to his journal entries

Would you consider the audio edition of Dystance to be better than the print version?

I love audio books. I always get the audio version.

What other book might you compare Dystance to and why?

i sort of felt it was kind of like Hunger Games but Winter is smarter then Catness and we are not sure why the war is happening but it is obviously for someones entertainment or experiment instead of a punishment like in hunger games. and Mark Tufo has a way of making me laugh so it was funnier then hunger games.

What about Julia Whelan’s performance did you like?

I thought she did a great job. you could tell who was speaking by her voice and she did a great job voicing each characters personality not just the characters sound.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Some parts made me laugh. very few made me cry. i was very entertained!!!!!!!

Any additional comments?

I know this book is targeted towards teens and young adults but i enjoyed it as much as i have enjoyed Zombie Fallout, Indian Hill, Lycan Fallout, Timothy and The Book of Riley. Calis Rose and Spirit Clearing were good but not as funny.

yes but not on audio because i didn't like the narrator

i have read most of this series and i really like them. there is a lot that i don't understand regarding the flying. I will keep reading them but i don't think i will be listening
