This book was short but umm it was a WTF. So much stuff was just so matter of fact between a bit of mundane day to day, if that’s what you can call it.

It’s Great for a Good Bedtime Story

It keeps you on your toes and it’s just enough sci-fi for sci-fi lovers and not too much for ones who find it boring. The character is written well enough that you root for him to the very end. I highly recommend Dark Matter if you need something that will lull you to sleep, but you always come back to it to get into the story.

A Very Enjoyable Experience

This isn’t usually the type of book I would read, but I’m broadening my taste a bit. I love to listen to books as I sleep so sometimes when I wake up I realize that I missed so much. This book, on the other hand, does the opposite. If you listen to a substantial amount of the beginning of the book you can continue to understand the plot even after you’ve missed a bunch. Nevertheless, the book was a great find and I highly recommend this read.

I just about wanted to cry. This was an amazing book! It made me remember a time when I thought I was a failure, I wasn’t able to graduate with my squadron in 2010 and was being sent back home. Before, I was discharged I remember walking past a room one night in the medical squadron and heard another airman telling a story. She was reciting your joke about your making an executive decision, she recited it word by word. That moment is burned into my memory. After that day, I watched everyone of your comedy specials, then I watched Bill Burr, Dave Chapelle and so many other great comedians. I am now happy to say that like a wine connoisseur, I am a comedian connoisseur. I don’t just like jokes, I like the math behind comedy; the approach, the delivery, all of it. Thank you Kevin!
