Beautiful faithful guide

I can’t say enough about how much I have learned from this. I re listen to this book a couple times a year and emerge reassured in my purpose in life and my place as one of Gods children. Every time I listen, I gain something new. This is a beautiful beautiful guide for life and has taught me so much about faith in God and the sacredness of the words of the Bible given to us by God as guides for our life on this Earth. I wish all of Esther Jungreis’ books were on audio, they are equally life changing.

if you are on a journey of recovery, this poignant and articulate story of trauma loss recovery and ultimately liberation from the prison of self. there are no words I can find to describe this book accurately, but this book will help you to live and to feel and to love yourself and others. I learned so much about recovery, trauma, and most of all, CHOICE. thank you to Dr. Eger for this gift.

Amazing, life changing

For any teacher who loves children and wants to go outside of the norm to provide what ALL CHILDREN NEED, this is the book for you. It is a missing piece for many white teachers trying to connect with youth of color, as well as a pedagogy building and inspiring resource for ANY TEACHER teaching ANY GROUP of youth. Tools, ideas, mindsets, beliefs and ideas that will take any dedicated teacher to the next level.

Most amazing book I’ve ever fucking read

There’s no excuses here if David David Goggins did it with the way his life started out I can do it with the way live my life started out I’m a really tough person but I also had a really rough beginning and I never let myself forget it and I use that as an excuse. I’ve achieved a lot but there still a lot of whining complaining an excuse making down the background.
I could go on anon this book has change my life his example and his mindset are the perfect catalyst to help me quit making excuses and make every area of my life what it was meant to be and to stop operating at a measly 40% this book will change your life

wonderful that it was written from point to of view of a person who was actually a comolete slib. I totally saw myself in all of their examples and didn't feel so alone!!!!
