Historia
Chase Arthur is a budding animator and hopeless romantic obsessed with Disney films and finding his true love, but he’s plagued with the belief that he’s not enough for anyone: he’s recovering from an eating disorder and suffers from body dysmorphia fuelled by his father and can’t quite figure out his gender identity. When Chase starts his freshman year of college, he has to navigate being away from home and missing his sister, finding his squad and contending with his ex-best friend, Leila, who is gunning for the same exclusive mentorship.

Surprisingly “Good Enough”
Revisado: 02-24-25
The characters really came to life with the narrator. Kurt really never disappoints. The side character Benny is too funny, but there’s more layers to him. The main characters really grow on you, and I really appreciate the author adding mental health into the story as it’s not talked about enough but so relatable in today’s society. I recommend this to everyone. I wish this type of story was out when I was alittle younger. This would be a great hit as a movie for YA….

I loved the idea of hockey and diversity in the book. It was really refreshing all around. Spoiler…. I also appreciated topics of mental health with the characters (very important) the ending was nice and I hope for more out of this story in a possible sequel.

Historia
From high school up until he became a successful attorney, Jacob Snowden was convinced that love had it out for him. "Everyone left" were the words he lived by. His mother, his high school sweetheart, his father, and his fiancé - they all left Jacob just when he felt it was safe to let down his guard. Not any longer. Jacob was a determined man, set at keeping people at a distance. If his six-foot-one, military-made body didn't scare people off, his permanent scowl surely did.

Compelling
Revisado: 09-25-24
Strong character development between Jacob and Wilde. The beginning with Jacob’s life was strong which made the book flow well into the other chapters. Wilde’s character was so well rounded and works perfectly. Wilde’s family was a great addition and they also brought comedic relief. So many great moments in this book. The narrator was also excellent and brought variety. I definitely recommend this.

Historia
Ethan is a young artist-entrepreneur with a love for quirky taxidermy. Roadkill is so much better than people. By the end of high school, all he wants is to develop his business, yet all his parents want is for him to go to law school. That is more than enough of a problem for Ethan, so any kind of love life is out of the question. That is until Robert Hunter, the quarterback of the football team, comes crashing into him. Literally.

Very Progressive in a positive way
Revisado: 08-31-24
I purchased this audiobook a few years ago but never had the time to listen to it until now. It’s actually a well rounded story with the two main characters trying to understand each other and form connection after an accident. The coming out scenes and the intimate connections between the two are very progressive. Robert’s mom is great in this too , so level headed and enjoyable all at the same time. The narration is well done also. I definitely recommend for high school readers and young adults.

Not Too Bad
Revisado: 07-16-24
You have to get use to the reader for the first few chapters but overall it’s a good book. Michael’s parents and his friends are the best and there’s a lot of LOL moments. The ending……………bitter sweet but makes sense on how the story flows.

Ambrose wakes up on the Coordinated Endeavor with no memory of a launch. There’s more that doesn’t add up: evidence indicates strangers have been on board, the ship’s operating system is voiced by his mother, and his handsome, brooding shipmate has barricaded himself away. I read this once when I was in high school 13 plus years ago. I decided to listen with audible, and this is such a powerful story of faith in knowing that God is mightier than the evil we face head on. I’m so glad to read/listen to this again and recommend this to others.

Who To Trust?
Revisado: 08-21-21
I wasn’t quite sure about this book at first after reading some mixed reviews. I did enjoy Victoria Lee’s unique old world new world dystopia thriller. I will say it took me some chapters to keep me fully vested into story. A lot happens in the beginning then it slows down a tad then it picks back up towards the middle and end. I did enjoy the main character but felt like he couldn’t of made brighter decisions. As the book develops you don’t know who Noam should really trust. I’ll have to listen to the second book to see what will happen next.
