Why IT in large organizations is so rarely successful
Revisado: 08-22-22
Mark is one of the very few authors who addresses the challenges of building systems in large non technical organizations. He does it in a highly entertaining fashion, assuming you are not one who relishes bureaucracy. This and his other books should be required reading for every business and technology leader. I wish I had found it earlier in my career!

He thinks himself invincible - right up till a mortal wound forces him to undergo a dangerous rebirthing spell, leaving him a helpless babe in human hands.

No cliché goes unused
Revisado: 01-05-21
Some great concepts but the writing contains endless cliches that add little to the story.
Some chapters have almost no action but instead are filled with the characters describing their volatile emotions.
And as we were stuck in a long family car ride, we listened to the end with a literal deus ex machina finish.
