I was wondering why this was under three hours long.
I found out is in an abridged version of the story.

Please have a new version made by: Gabrielle de Cuir.
thank you

I've always like this story, for it depiction of Cryogenics (Cold Sleep). And how you deal with 62 years passing you by.
This story was excellent when it came out.

The narration was also excellent.

This is a great story in the vane of Harry Potter, but it is Magic made with Music.
Amelia Jones is not the wonder child, and seem to be a big of a klutz.
I truly hope, Amelia Jones will be Bach!

Great series but this narration is terrible

This is a fantastic series and I loves the first three books and will most likely think the fifth is also great; BUT this narration is just nerve wrenching. I can get past the overly long pauses but the mispronunciations of main character names and places is almost too much to bear.
I don’t know why brilliance decided to Change narrators, but they made a bad choice.

As I have said before, Mercedes Lackey's telling of Talia's story was always fantastic, from the first time I read it in the late eighties. But Christa's reading brings the story alive in such a way, I am enjoying her story all over again. Her version of the character Conversations reflect all the emotions of the character, from Talia's depressing self doubt to her sheer joy and playfulness. Each Character has a voice and Christa does and excellent job of maintaining continuity of the voices.

I will tell you now, the worse part of this book is knowing we have to wait for the last part of Talia's story. but when it comes, I am sure I will be as pleased with Arrows Fall, as I am with Arrows of the Queen and Arrow's Flight.

If you could sum up Arrows of the Queen in three words, what would they be?

Talia's story was always fantastic, but Christa's reading brings the story alive in such a way, I am enjoying her story all over again. I also have the Carole Edie Smith reading and this is much better.

Which scene was your favorite?

There are so many, but one that stands out is when Talia meets a crying Elspeth in the garden, Christa treatment of the Crying child is more acted then just read, with stuttering and sniffles. it just brought that seen to life in my mind.

Any additional comments?

I hope that Christa also reads the two other volumes in this Trilogy, Arrow's Flight and Arrow's Fall.
