I did enjoy it BUT.......

I did enjoy this book and downloaded the next BUT, I can hardly stand the emails....over and over and over and over To: Christian Grey From: Anastasia Steele, on and on and on....it go so old so quick I felt myself rolling my eyes every tIme she said it which was A LOT!!!! Made me wonder if the author had to hit a minimum word count ending each one with Christian Grey, CEO Grey Enterprises holding Inc........ That part was horrible...the book did keep my attention however and I did download the next one so what does that say about me??

The reader's voice grated on my nerves........the story skipped around too much and did not make much sense. I LOVE my audio books so it is highly unusual for me to actually stop listening to one without finishing it but that is exactly what I did with this one. The cover of the book says narrated by Cynthia Nixon....NOT!!! She narrated Hear of the Matter and I loved it, this reader was awful!

Good then got VERY SLOW!!

I have read all of the books and loved them. This one started out strong and kept my interest until 3/4 through it, then the author lost me......SO SLOW!!!! I found myself thinking of other things while listening which is not at all like me! It is like Stephanie Meyer just decided the book needed to end and ended it with very little meaning......a let down!

Enjoyed every second of this book!! Felt disappointed when it was over because it was so good! Having different readers for each of the main characters was so good and each reader was wonderful!! Don't hesitate to download this one, it was worth every second I spent listening to it!!

I didn't hate it but it was so slow in spots. I would get to a really good part and then it would just go too slow.....I agree with other reviewers about the repitition.....although I appreciate detail from a author, in this book Steele says the same thing over and over! Decent listen but I have heard many much better

Totally engaging!

I was skeptical about this book at first and it did take a chapter or two to get into it but then I found myself wanting to know more about David and his family. I TOTALLY disagree with the previous reviews that said negative things about the narrator, I thought he was GREAT!! I laughed outloud when he did the voices for Daisy and Jasper and found myself drawn to the sound of his voice. Thank you David Sheff for allowing us into your world and I know this book is a few years old, I find myself wondering what became of Nick.

This was a great listen. At first I wasn't sure I liked the narrators voice but after a short while I settled in and loved it. What a wonderful story, this was my first Nicholas Sparks book but won't be my last, just started The Choice!!

This was a decent listen but I agree with other reviewers, the author repeated the same things over and over. I listen in my car only and sometimes when I would start my car up and start listening I would question if I accidently rewound the book but I didn't, she just repeats alot. All and all I enjoyed the book pretty much but it did get a little tedious with the repeating!
