Odd to get use to, solid when you do

this was an absolutely wonderful read. it felt like a series of small short stories, but none of them felt small. I really enjoyed seeing the perspective of each contributor. when many other series will leave most of the history of a character as a mystery, this book gives it to you up front. I really like that about it. I didn't have to wait for many more books to come out to understand the backstory of the main characters. it's terrific. so terrific, you won't even know how terrific it is.

I couldn't finish this book. I couldn't finish the first chapter. The narrator's voice was beyond frustrating with terribly chosen inflection. Nearly every sentence rose at the end as if he was asking a question. I just couldn't.
