Book 3 was difficult to follow at times with how intricate the floor worked that the crawlers were navigating. There is way too many layers to how the floor worked, and I could never get a grasp on it. It was just one of those things where you had to just accept what the narrator was telling you and continue on with the story. otherwise it’s everything we’ve grown to know and love, about the storyline. I particularly enjoyed the side quest Carl, and team in advertently got themselves into. New characters and more depth to the dungeon was also very nice. As always, Hays performance was Oscar worthy. Can’t wait to continue reading just hopefully less confusing floors for the crawlers.

This is a collection of short stories that add to, but not necessarily enhance the lore of the alien universe. It is completely unnecessary to read/listen to this book if you’re looking to follow the timeline and series of events within the alien universe. These short stories were all over the place. You’ll hear some familiar names, and visit few familiar places. You’ll even encounter a few new creatures as well. There were a few interesting stories and characters, but otherwise a lackluster addition to Aliens. The stories that did contain Zenor were basically a rinse and repeat of the same ingredients that make up the majority of the Alien franchise. I’d say the most interesting short out of this entire book was Dangerous Prey, which offered a different perspective that we haven’t seen yet. All in all you’re not missing anything if you skip this book.

Every time you hear the narrator read “ I’m sorry” take a shot.

The story itself is fascinating, and depicts a very potential real world apocalyptic situation. It’s very detailed in a beautifully gruesome way.

The narrator, Tom Stechschulte’s performance leads something to be desired. Although slightly fitting to the story, his overall tone and inflection is quite bland and monotone. I personally felt it lacked emotion, despite the abysmal circumstance of the characters.

Overall, I feel like this is a must listen to for any audible heads out there that enjoy listening/reading detailed, and desperate stories of human struggle and triumph.

This book basically just repeated common sense advice about trying to turn a friend into a love interest. I would not call this a how to. It didn’t provide any useful tools one could use and employ on anyone. At the most this book was just positive self reinforcement.
