From the very first paragraphs I was in! Great job of suspense and romance. Not your typical “normal girl falls in love with a famous person” book. I loved that every time I thought I knew what was about to happen it took a totally different turn.

I will admit that this was not as humorous as most Pippa books but was still enjoyable.
However.. PIPPA PLEASE start a series of just the animals in all of your books! I always literally LOL at those epilogues and this was no exception!

I need to thank the others who have reviewed because I finally just gave up in Chapter 11.
I love Janet E! I have read or listened to every book she has released. There have been some pretty crazy unrealistic scenarios in other series (Motor Mouth - with the guy stuck in a NASCAR hauler that gets hijacked by a pro-driver) but the main characters stayed true. Kahuna has really made me sad. I would have rather the series just end than the whole storyline change! I just loved how Kate and Nick were slowly progressing in their relationship and the other characters were hilarious but when I started this one and Nick was actually IN the FBI office… I should’ve known. I honestly thought it was going to be a dream sequence or something. The ENTIRE point of the series is that he is on the FBI most wanted list but working secretly with the government and Kate is still “hunting “ for him. Why would he be IN THE OFFICE TALKING TO JESSUP?!
I know she changed co-writers, but why didn’t someone…ANYONE…. Say “Hey, this doesn’t make sense?!”
I could maybe give it a pass if you felt the characters needed a change if we were 1 or even 2 books in but FIVE!!!
From what I’ve read of the reviews for The Bounty, it looks like Nick and Kate are still the same as in Kahuna, so I don’t even want to waste the credit.
If the previous 5 books storylines were because they were written with Lee Goldberg , can we ask him to write an ending for Kate and Nick?! I need closure on the OG Nick and Kate!

I love the other stories in Pippa’s series, but this one just seemed to drag on and on with the sexual tension between Max and TJ and just kept going in the same circle too long. I was annoyed with how many times we had to hear about Max and his “frustration”
Just felt like there wasn’t as much fun in this one. Still love the other books though!
