This is a wonderful epic fantasy, filled with intrigue, danger, humor, and mystery.
The narrating style was true to genre and flowed freely. If you like fantasy, you’ll love this!

Exceptionally well written

When Duke Wellsly (possibly misspelled because this is an audiobook and I didn’t get to see it written) is assigned the task of investigating a murder, he never imagined that he would get sucked into fighting the forces of evil.
Samantha has been training for this her whole life, though she still considers herself to be ill prepared. Whether she is ready or not, she is about to be tested.
This is an epic adventure that is sure to delight all the fans of fantasy. The world building is spectacular, the supernatural aspects are complex, the backstory to the lands adds even more dimension.
Simon Vance was the perfect narrator for this.

Wow! Wow! Wow!

I didn't really know what to expect when I picked this up, but I'm sure glad I did. This book follows Mariam (spelling might be off, it was an audio book after all) first though poverty, then through money lending, then a strange arrangement with the winter fae king. Her life intertwines with the children of a local family with an abusive father, the Czarina, and a demon of summer. Can she find a way to save her human family and her new kingdom alike or will they succumb to the demon?
The narrator did an amazing job on this book; perfect pace and accents. The author's delicate balance between attention to detail, historic accuracy, character depth, and plot was a masterful dance. I will definitely be reading (listening) to more by this author!

Sonya has been trying to be loyal to her girlfriend, but as a succubus she needs sexual energy to survive and she just can't get it from her girlfriend. It is putting her life in jeopardy now. Can she please her girlfriend and stay alive at the same time?
This is a great RH, female/female book and quite an original one. If you like reverse harem, you will love this!

Spectacular

Idi now carries the weight of a great burden, the grief of helplessness, and sorrow of self doubt as the obstacles before him seem to grow, can he grow to match them? All our favorite characters are back, and as they grow older and wiser so does our love for them.
This is an epic adventure that offers hope and redemption, with relatable and deep characters. I must say hearing the narrator describe the evil attacking the lungs of people, during these trying times (COVID19) made the story seem even closer to home. Perhaps we could all use more of this kind of story and message right now.
If you like fantasy you will love this, though I would recommend starting at the beginning of the series.

Great story!

Tyler lost his father at a young age and has been left to deal with the aftermath by a family who has no idea how to raise a child with PTSD. Behavior problems ensue and Tyler begins to get in trouble all the time. His latest escapade leads him to discover the dumping of a mysterious substance into a cess pool, but Tyler and his dog end up covered in it, and neither will ever be the same. Is Tyler ready to accept his new found life and responsibility?
This is a great story for kids that addresses issues of losing a parent, empowering one's self, and coming of age. I highly recommend it!

In this story we follow young Adam through a rough childhood, filled with an emotionally abusive home, horrible bullies, but also some strange things that begin to happen. We see the development of his guilt issues, his sexuality, and oh so much more!

This is an exceptionally thrilling tale that really should be movie someday, and the author very skillfully sets the tone for more! I can't wait! If you like scary reads, thrillers, or psychological thrillers, you will love this!

Self discovery unfolds

As Idi and Marcus continue on their journey, Idi is on a personal journey of discovering who he really is or was meant to be all along, with both internal and external growth, but will it be enough?
As Cassandra goes on the hunt for her missing son, we also follow Katrina’s coming of age, but time is running out and there is a war brewing.
This is the second installment in the Born to Be series and as we follow the characters discovering whom they were each born to be, the lessons on self-discovery will stay with you. I highly recommend this uplifting series to any lover of epic fantasy stories.

According to Marcus, Idi will be a great magician, but Idi has his doubts that he’d be great at anything.
Marcus has been given the task of finding Idi, mentoring him, finding the pregnant woman, and facilitate saving the world, but Idi doesn’t make it easy. Can he do it in such little time?
Ancient threats are return to earth and slaughtering people, adding more and more urgency to their quest. Will Idi come into his own in time to save this unknown child?
This is a wonderful epic fantasy that is sure to delight readers of all ages! If you’re a fan of Tolkien or Rothfuss, you’ll love this!

Azrael and Tobias are on the run from the forces of Heaven and mostly enjoying their time as Tobias introduces Azrael to human life. In effort to return the favor Azrael gently pushes Tobias into confronting a past he'd rather forget, but is Tobias ready for that? And how long can they dodge Gabriel and Raphael?

I started this series at the 2nd book but that didn't detract from it. While on it's surface this is a steamy paranormal romance, it also deals with the realities of life and overcoming past hurts. If you like PNR, you'll love this!
