Wish there had been a preface

First, I adore John Scalzi’s writing. I found The Kaiju Preservation Society one of the most original books ever. In this book his usual wonderful character development is present. And in several chapters appears to be a link. But toward the end, I nearly stopped listening. I was lost and say little link between the chapters. After about a week I came back and finished. It wasn’t until the afterword that it made sense. Great writer, not my favorite of his books.

What did you love best about The Android's Dream?
The plot has a great pace and the technology references are very much like Michael Crichton's Very nice to listen to and easy to follow. I loved the plot twists and was able to follow the plot details and characters without difficulty even while driving and doing chores.
What does Wil Wheaton bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Wil Wheaton's reading brings a sense of movement and pace to the story that enhances the story.
Any additional comments?
If Scalzi's other stories are as well written, I have a new author to keep an eye out for!
