I had high hopes for this writer. My first book by Thor and found to to be slow boring and filled with basic errors. (Super spy gets caught by low level thugs? Sniper makes poor shooting choices and etc) Thor was billed as a great writer my first and last book by him

Maybe other books he wrote are ok BUT he has no understanding of how the military works, the first five mins told me that, does not understand how EMPs work (which is the main protagonist of story) EPMs do NOT leave radioactive fallout since you need dust in the EMP is an air burst -and while na minor point the reader is from Minnesota and has Distinct accent drying out his "O" fun to listen to but a little distracting since the story is it in Colorado this one's getting sent back

Who ever wrote this was just guessing at how the Military works. First engagement "They are 500 meters away only the trained shooters will cause damage" then the Marines got shot up, no air support planned even when they were sure they pile get hit, not worth the time

OK I Have returned 8 of the last 10 books of this Genre I have ordered most with less then half read. I have 22 years Army & 5 deployments The lack of any tactics drives me insane, just can’t do it. Then some writers sounded like a high schooler got published. I keep looking for other authors while my favorites work on new books.

Well I and really enjoying this book so order it you will not have wasted your time

Too painful to finish

I don’t even know where to start...Ok here after being attacked they get their ship shot up because they ignore a energy spike from a guard tower ??? They are along range recon ship, they lose contact with earth and then think no one will come looking... Well if your recon ship is looking for trouble finds it, and is destroyed, then you know they found something and you would want to send a ship to see what took out your ship

if you have no understating of anything military this book maybe for you. BUT IF sending Delta Force like operators on a snatch and grab in full day light in the middle of a hostile station of which you will have to walk out with a guy in cuffs or being carried and no one will notice? sorry that mission is a no-go from the start, i like his first book but i am getting off here book returned

He writes about the Military yet must have never even watched a Milagros ,over much less gone to see what they do. Complete waste of time
