I am sure if anyone saw me reading this amazing, wonderful tale, they would wonder at the range of emotions reflected in my countenance. 💖 I am in Heaven. Actually, I am in the War, at the Ridge, in Charleston and Savannah...wherever the Frasers (and company) are, I am.
It is a grand achievement, well worth the 7 years in between. And the ENDING...!
update: Just finished listening through for the 2nd time. Still amazing, awesome, thrilling, touching, heavenly.... 😃

This is not a book to be "enjoyed" in the usual sense of the word. It is a GREAT book, one to be savoured and pondered and remembered. It is one from which we can learn as human beings, all living on the same - and only - planet. Savoured might not be quite the right word. Just read, take it in, and ponder...think deeply....
