Historia
Years ago, the Child-Goddess Aphrael had hidden Bhelliom, the Stone of Power, at the bottom of the sea. Yet now it is needed again to stop a malign force from spreading evil and destruction across the lands. Sparhawk, Queen's champion, sets out to retrieve the Stone. But others seek the gem for their own diabolical ends. Most fearsome of these are the Shining Ones, whose mere touch melts human flesh from bone.

Historia
Six years had passed since the redoubtable knight Sparhawk had triumphed over the evil God Azash and returned to Elenia with Queen Ehlana, his bride. And now a new danger had arisen to threaten the peace of Ehlana's realm. The trouble had started quietly. At home, bandits began to plague the hill country. In neighboring Lamorkand, the customary political unrest turned ominous with whispers that the bloody heroes of old soon would rise again.

Ghosts from the past
Revisado: 04-03-25
The cast of characters are back. Honestly it took me time to get used to the new reader. It's hard when you've listened to the last three audio books in a series with each character having a distinct voice and then a new reader comes along with a different pace and style. Eventually, after shelving it for awhile, I came back for another try. Time helped so that the old reader's voice wasn't so ingrained in my mind, and I started to enjoy the story more. Ive read the book series myself several times, but it had been years,

Revisado: 02-21-25
I've enjoyed listening to the series having read it multiple times over the years. The narration was excellent with the reader adjusting their voice to give each character a uniqueness, instead of just reading the book monotone as some times I've had the mispleasure of listening too.

Historia
Ehlana, Queen of Elenia, had been poisoned. A deep enchantment sustained her life, but only while the Knights aiding it still lived - and, already, they were dying, one each month. Then Sparhawk, the knight and Queen's Champion, learned that the cure for the poison was Bhelliom, the great jewel lost when Sarak of Thalesia died in battle 500 years before.

Sparhawk, Not Your Traditional Knight
Revisado: 02-12-25
I've read this book and the series multiple times and it is one of my favorites. It was refreshing to listen to the book, while being able do other tasks. The Eddings other series the Belgariad/Malloreon as well as the The Tamuli series that continues after The Elenium series as well as the stand alone fantasy autobiographies Belgarth and then Polgara from the Belgariad/Malloreon series are a must to read/listen to.

Historia
Once upon a time, in the magical land of San Francisco, there lived a not-so-ordinary girl named Laurel Pettigrew. She was supposed to be the Chosen One. The plan was simple: She would vanquish the great evil Tybus in an epic battle. But destiny had other ideas, and Laurel's performance in the whole heroics department was a colossal flop. Now, instead of being a legendary hero, Laurel's the resident pariah of the magic realm. And what’s worse, the dark wizard Tybus swooped in, took over the realm, and forced all supernatural creatures to live under his tyrannical rule.
