Interesting from beginning to end
Revisado: 02-08-25
The right balance is struck between sufficient technical details and a very understandable overview of the various topics. Really well done.

Verity
Revisado: 01-31-25
I enjoy the genre of story, but I was highly disappointed in this book. It started out on a high note and it quickly became less than worthy. I have read and listen to many books about the women involved in World War II and I felt that this was very trite

Historia
Over two grim nights in Los Angeles, the young followers of Charles Manson murdered seven people, including the actress Sharon Tate, then eight months pregnant. With no mercy and seemingly no motive, the Manson Family followed their leader's every order. Twenty years ago, when journalist Tom O'Neill was reporting a magazine piece about the murders, he worried there was nothing new to say. Then he unearthed shocking evidence of a cover-up behind the "official" story, including police carelessness, legal misconduct, and potential surveillance by intelligence agents.

Long winded repetition
Revisado: 01-29-25
A very long and windy road that leads no where. Some interesting tidbits of history, but not much to learn from this book.

Good sequel to The Deserter
Revisado: 01-09-24
Very interesting plot and good further character development of the two characters. The incorporation of cultural and political issues related to Germany, WWII, terrorism, US interdepartmental interactions - all good stuff. Got a little repetitive at times, could have been a little more co cause.

Disappointing book by Grisham. Not really bad, but just kind of bland and without much real drama. The Audio performance was of a similar quality.
