Historia
Peter Armstrong and Hank Colfax are best friends, but their lives couldn’t be more different. Peter, the local pastor who is dedicated to his community, spending time visiting the flock, attending meetings, and, with the holiday season approaching, preparing for the Christmas service and live nativity. As a bartender, Hank serves a much different customer base at his family-owned tavern, including a handful of lonely regulars and the local biker gang. When Peter scoffs that Hank has it easy compared to him, the two decide to switch jobs until Christmas Eve.

Refreshingly Different
Revisado: 12-18-22
This is a must-read, refreshingly different story! This is my favorite Debbie Macomber Christmas book and I highly recommend it.

Historia
When Jenny inherits her estranged grandmother’s cottage in Sherwood Forest, she has nothing to lose - no money, no job, no friends, no family to speak of, and zero self-respect. Things can only get better.... Her grumpy but decidedly handsome new neighbour, Mack, has a habit of bestowing unsolicited good deeds on her. And when Jenny is welcomed into a rather unusual book club, life seems to finally be getting more interesting. Instead of reading, the members pledge to complete individual challenges before Christmas.

Slow start ends in magnificence!
Revisado: 10-19-21
I wasn’t crazy about this book in the first few chapters. But I’m so glad I stuck it out- the characters and plot became rich, deep and real, and I loved it! It was so fresh and different, and the characters’ flaws and obstacles were relatable. Hats off to Beth Morgan- this is first time I read one of her novels, and I will be reading more!
The narrator’s performance was consistent, and she portrayed each character well. It didn’t feel like a story being read, but a friend confiding to me. A thank you to Helen Keeley, whose performance brought these flawed and interesting characters to life. I highly recommend!

Historia
Thinking no one is reading, a blogger who calls herself LBH writes about her most personal feelings, especially her overwhelming loneliness. She goes from day to day showing a brave face to the world while inside she longs to know how it would feel if one person cared about her. Alex Bartlett cares. He's reading her posts in Daytona Beach, Florida. Nursing his own broken heart and trust issues, he finds himself falling for this sensitive, vulnerable woman whose feelings mirror his own.

A warm Christmas story with great reflections!

I enjoyed this story, and the presentation of core emotions that all of us have experienced, so eloquently written in the characters' self-reflection and emotion of current conflicts.
