Historia
Beck is everything Joe has ever wanted: she's gorgeous, tough, razor-smart, and sexy beyond his wildest dreams. Joe needs to have her, and he'll stop at nothing to do so. As he begins to insinuate himself into her life - her friendships, her email, her phone - she can’t resist her feelings for a guy who seems custom-made for her. So when her boyfriend, Benji, mysteriously disappears, Beck and Joe fall into a tumultuous affair. But there's more to Beck than her oh-so-perfect façade.

His psychopathy
Revisado: 01-31-25
Good but disturbing, which was intended. I watched it on Netflix which I liked but wanted to listen to the audible version. Wow, nothing like having a psychopath whisper in my ear for 14 hrs . I became very empathetic to Joe and disliked most of his victims . Not to many likable characters in this book and Joe- justifying every single thing from stalking, to murder. The most frightening aspect-there are people like that that walk among us. I think I need to read something a little more wholesome after this one.

Historia
In this harrowing New York Times best seller, Ann Rule is at her masterful best as she winnows horrific truths from the ashes of what seemed like paradise in Prairie Village, Kansas. Rule probes the case of Debora Green, a doctor and a loving mother who seemed to epitomize the dreams of the American heartland. A small-town girl with a genius IQ, she achieved an enviable life. But when a raging fire destroyed that home and took two lives, the trail of clues led investigators to a stunning conclusion.

Engaging
Revisado: 06-23-24
Love Ann Rule. She really does pull you into the drama by giving you thorough characterization, background, and explains how the legal system works in homicide cases. However, I was getting tired of hearing about how brilliant and talented the perpetrator was. As if that made any difference? Not to me it didn’t . It sounds like she wasn’t much of a dr. either. I can’t understand how her husband let this go on for years and didn’t think this was affecting their children. After that first fire and the resin- oh hell no , those kids needed to be out of there. I feel bad for all of them. I hope he and his surviving daughter managed to find some semblance of healing and peace after this trauma. He was too good for her.

Historia
The Phantom Prince chronicles Elizabeth Kendall’s intimate relationship with Ted Bundy and its eventual unraveling. As much as has been written about Bundy, it’s remarkable to hear the perspective of people who shared their daily lives with him for years. This gripping account presents a remarkable examination of a charismatic personality that masked unimaginable darkness.

Very courageous and well written. I always curious about her. I’m glad her and her daughter had a chance to heal.

Didn’t work
Revisado: 06-04-21
I couldn’t follow the story because the audio kept stopping and I’d have to push play to get it started again. This would happen about every 3-5 minutes. Now they won’t even let me return the title. So my poor review isn’t concerning the book . I think the book is probably good but this audible deal-not so much
