Historia
Piper cycles off one hot Oklahoma evening for a sleepover with her new friend, Miley, from summer camp. But when she doesn’t come home, her grandparents raise the alarm. Their little angel is missing, last seen on her pink bicycle, heading toward the dark woods on Black Heart Lane. Detective Kimberley King knows that the first 24 hours in a missing-child investigation are the most critical, but with no witnesses, and darkness falling in the small town of Dead Woman Crossing, she begins to fear the worst.

Love Chief Deputy Kimberly King
Revisado: 09-03-23
I love that Jeneva continued the story of chief Deputy Kimberly King. There are so many mysteries/tragedies that can be brought to us without having to re-create our favorite characters. I’ve already fallen in love with Kimberly Samuel. I can’t wait to watch the story unfold as they set out to solve more mysteries ..

Two women. An office filled with secrets. One terrible crime that can't be taken back. Dawn Schiff is strange. At least, everyone thinks so at Vixed, the nutritional supplement company where Dawn works as an accountant. She never says the right thing. She has no friends. And she is always at her desk at precisely 8:45 a.m.

Just ok
Revisado: 08-31-23
I usually get sucked into her books from the first page. This one drew me in then lost me a few times. I still finished it in two days. I had a love-hate relationship for Natalie. I had many different ideas about what actually happened. I definitely did not put the pieces together on my own..
The narrator was good, the only part that annoyed me was the reading of the emails. I understand it was how it was written in the book but it just irritated me. 🤣
Overall, it was a decent talk. Not my favorite, but definitely not the worst.

Historia
There are only three things in this world that are certain: death, taxes, and babies. Nobody knows this truth better than Emily McCoy, a third-year resident working in Baby City, the affectionate nickname for the busy Labor and Delivery unit at a New York City hospital. On a typical day in Baby City, Emily delivers more babies than the number of hours of sleep she manages to squeeze in that night. And definitely more than the number of dates she's been on since she started her training in OB/GYN two years earlier.

Good story, but not so great narrator
Revisado: 06-30-23
From the beginning of the book, you can tell that this was a co-written book, as it was not true to McFadden style. I got the book because Ive read/listened to all her books. Without reading any reviews, I also compared the book to Grey’s Anatomy. It was a nice story, but lacked excitement. The narrator was painful to listen to her. Her Portrayal of male voices was awful and almost scary, especially Ted. immediately pictured a person with physical disabilities, and a speech impediment rather than a competent resident. The ending was predictable, but sweet.

Historia
Garrick Rodenheiser crashed, burned, and found a second chance when he crawled away from the wreckage of his life four years ago. And while he hasn't exactly escaped his past, he's kept it far enough away. Until trouble in the form of a rain-soaked, bleeding woman comes banging on the door of his remote cabin. True, she doesn't look like a reporter. But the word trust simply isn't in Garrick's vocabulary anymore.

Boring
Revisado: 01-17-23
Typical predicted hallmark movie. I usually like her books; however, this is the worst book I’ve listened to.
