I periodically listen to self help; my 1st one was Ringer's Winning through Intimidation in 1989. He is full of humility to the point of self deprecation at times. Funny stuff with great lessons. Note the racist review; Mexico being a 3rd world country with flies and roaches in the hospital waiting room. Ringer went on to say the dr's were some of the most caring and attentive people he had ever encountered.

Good broad insight to this industry

Very interested in opioids and addictive nature. Good slant on China’s lax laws and supplying a crippling drug to the US. Took some risks going undercover to gather info for this book. Why would anyone chance taking carfentanyl- an elephant tranquilizer?!! Crazy.

Not sure I wanted to get this- been on wish list a while. Also listened to a lot of special ops and military books recently. The format of AB/interview was off putting- for about 5 mins- I heard Goggins excuses and were same as mine. Also I tend to be a team player but morph to Lone Ranger overachiever but to not his level of course. Resonates with me a ton and I’m 55- Great background from someone who overcame the odds and will make changes in my routine now. Thanks for the model Goggins.

Jho Lo; what a resourceful character. Would have been a great story if it was fiction. I raise investment funds (not on his scale) and had a good look into how he fooled so many people on such a huge scale. Found myself rooting for the scoundrel at times. Saw a story on his case in late 2019 and they were wondering where he was. I know! On his yacht evading authorities. I wonder how he pays a huge crew and keeps up the boat for years on end.... Get it and love it.

Wasn’t sure what I was getting into- all the reviews said to prepare to cry. Numerous interviews with the progression of each even was engrossing. It got my heart on the interview with the crew gal on 93 I think- hard to imagine she was minutes from her death. Gives really great background on these thousand heroes. Get and tell them Mike sent ya!

Get it no matter where you are in life

Read his 1st book Fastlane. Found this audiobook and listened to it 2x and gave it as a gift. Unconventional and I have heard a lot of this in other venues but never in 1 book. The delivery is salty and very entertaining. Even his investing tips are solid. I consider myself out of the box and this shook me up on different levels.
