Historia
Set in the vibrant 14th century of Chaucer and the Black Death, the classic romance Katherine features knights fighting in battle, serfs struggling in poverty, and the magnificent Plantagenets - Edward III, the Black Prince, and Richard II - who ruled despotically over a court rotten with intrigue. Within this era of danger and romance, John of Gaunt, the king's son, falls passionately in love with the already married Katherine.

Historia
Distinguished British man of letters J. R. Ackerley hardly thought himself a dog lover when, well into middle age, he came into possession of a German shepherd named Tulip. To his surprise, she turned out to be the love of his life, the “ideal friend” he had been seeking in vain for years. My Dog Tulip is a bittersweet retrospective account of their 16-year companionship, as well as a profound and subtle meditation on the strangeness that lies at the heart of all relationships.

Loaded with facts.
Revisado: 01-10-12
Over all this is a good book. It is loaded with facts. It does bog down with a minutiae of dates and spellings at times, which does detract from the story. It is a book that is better read than listened to.

Excellent Story. Well told.

This is a good story and was well told. It kept my attention and did not violate the known facts of the life of William Marshall.

I loved reading the Due series back in the 80's. It's a good storie. The sound effects are great and trully add to the mode and feel of the narrative.
