We need more books and soon!!!
Revisado: 09-07-24
My one complaint is that the time table in regards to the books release dates are so long. The story makes you want more, but when you have to wait a year or more it really feels deflating. Aside form that this series is 100% worth the read/listen 10/10 would recommend.

The MC isn't some OP monster without trying. He works for all of his skills and power. The characters around him are good support to him and his mission. All in all, recommend to any person who like LitRPGs!!

Needs to focus on its roots
Revisado: 12-30-23
This book is a step in the right direction, exploring, fighting, companions. But like most of the books before it misses the chance to have more meaningful battles earlier in the book. Or at the very least stop the amount of talking/ego boosting for Jason and just have him banter in battle. All in all close to making this book great just missing a few key things.

Great ending to the series
Revisado: 11-28-23
There are many different ways the story could have ended where I could have said the book was perfect. But I find it best to end on a good note and say the Author gave his best and I respect him for it bravo.

Historia
With the Builder threat behind them, the time has finally come for Jason and his team to hit the road. Eager to get back to the adventuring he’s been longing for, Jason is excited to not be at the center of world-changing events. But before he goes, one last attempt to pull him into politics has him leaving Rimaros with a strong final impression. With new places to visit and new people to meet, the remnants of recent events have scarred the land and left lingering dangers behind. It's a busy time for adventurers willing and able to fight with monsters.

Getting back on track!
Revisado: 11-28-23
With all of the mix feelings left in the last 6 books I can say it's good to see the story go back to basics. There are some points in the book where I find myself a little annoyed by Jason and his team hyping him/ ego boosting him every chance they get. But I've come to figure a lot of it is well earned after all of his trials and tribulations. The action from Jason is different than I expected from him in this book. He is deviling more into his newfound powers that give some freshness to his arsenal. The team gets great moments to shine, and the battles don't disappoint in this one. Hopefully this continues for future books.

Historia
Jason arrives at a kingdom in peril and he's surprised to discover that it's not his job to save it. With the authorities fulfilling their responsibilities (for once), he looks forward to some quiet time to rest and recuperate. The locals might not find ceaseless monster onslaughts and an interdimensional invasion relaxing, but Jason has had a rough few years. He's doing his best to let go of his anger. While his team is caught up in duty, Jason has no shortage of people looking to interfere with his rest. Enemies—old and new—are circling, and even would-be allies are trouble.

Getting back wasn't as expected.
Revisado: 11-28-23
Jason getting back is all well and good but not having monster battles isn't really not selling the "He Who Fight with Monsters" pitch. I understand that he is dealing with the aftermath of his world. but the drama that follows and the politics he is dragged in isn't good enough to be an entire book with near to no action on his part.

Historia
The world teeters on the brink of destruction. The people who should be saving the Earth ignore Jason Asano's warnings and choose to loot the house as it burns down around them. He lacks the strength to save the world himself, but resolves to do it anyway, impossible be damned. The impossible, in this case, means seizing a power that no mortal should touch. It's a choice from which there is no turning back, and marks Jason's first step into a wider cosmos that he is not yet ready to face. Holding the fate of two worlds in his hands, Jason must decide for himself what home truly means.

The whole earth arc isn't ideal but somehow works.
Revisado: 11-28-23
After the long dreg of the Earth arc, I can't help but to feel that it could have been condensed to two books at most. The arc was good enough to push some of the story, but I feel as if it was just filler in regards to setting up factions, side characters and some stories. Sure, Jason gets Farra back and sees his family, but it's so mind numbing to deal with the little side stories that don't have any real carryover. All in all, the story moved on but just left a bad taste with it.

Historia
It’s not easy making the career jump from office-supplies-store middle manager to heroic interdimensional adventurer. At least, Jason tries to be heroic, but it's hard to be good when all your powers are evil. He’ll face off against cannibals, cultists, wizards, monsters...and that’s just on the first day. He’s going to need courage, he’s going to need wit, and he’s going to need some magic powers of his own. But first, he’s going to need pants.
