I got this book as an experiment to see if I would like it, and boy was it worth it! The entire Salvage Title Universe is highly recommended. This is a GREAT series with action, adventure, a touch of comedy and romance, and no foul language. It's great for the whole family!

I love this series - actually ALL of the Salvage Title Universe books are great!. This offshoot has everything - comedy, romance, action, adventure. The only thing it doesn't have is foul language. These books are highly recommended.

This book continues the adventures of Ben and Matt as they use the same tactics Keep used on them to find deserving (i.e., dying or having a recent tragedy) people to give starship rides to for $20 a head. Noah, Tyler, and Allred go for a ride and, of course, things don't go as planned.
One issue: The starship's AI is named Levi (Lee-Vye), not Levy (Lev-ee). Please listen to the previous books to get the pronunciation right. It's driving us nuts!

Another Great Book Ruined By the Narrator

Another great book. We are truly enjoying it. However, the “l” in salmon is SILENT. Like the previous book, we are yelling at the narration, yelling SA-MON every time he says SAL-MON. Please get narrators that are willing to look words up when they don’t know how to pronounce them!

Bobby Akart’s books are exciting stories that we really enjoy listening to. However, the narrator’s poor pronunciation is very irritating. My husband and I yell “PUM-ICE” every time he says pyoo-mis. Where did this guy learn to read?

The story is pretty good, but it's obvious it's not Clive Cussler's writing. Juan Cabrillo is more angry and emotional and less cool-headed. He now shoots first and asks questions later rather than being unwilling to kill if it's not necessary, using trank darts instead of bullets. All in all an OK read.
