Great listen for all!

This audiobook was a good attention grabber from the beginning. The narrator I think did a great job of keeping the audience’s attention throughout the whole book. The bond that the story tells of Toby and Phinney is one that will keep you thinking about the book long after the story is over. The book provided great detail of the life people lived in the Caribbean in the 1950’s. The story in general is a feel good story that makes you believe in the power of friendships, even if it is between human and animal. The book was a wonderful read and a heartwarming tale. I would recommend this book to anyone that enjoys a great story.

Historia
From a challenge of faith to a means of transformation: Did God really say you couldn't eat from any tree in the garden? This seed of doubt planted so long ago bears the fruit of fear on some level every day - the idea that our actions could ruin something beautiful and God might not have control over things. In What Women Fear, acclaimed writer and speaker Angie Smith admits, "Fear is a major part of my testimony," as she talks openly about significant struggles she has experienced. Giving a voice to the problem, she says, "I truly believe every single one of us struggles with some type of fear...."

So refreshing!
Revisado: 03-12-14
I have read other books by Angie Smith and just love her writing and this book was no different. Angie breaks it down for us all on different fears we have a Christians and how we can cope with them and how to bring God more into our lives instead of waiting for something tragic to happen to call out for him. The book was wonderful but probably would have liked to hear Angie read it or just have read it myself on my kindle verses listening to Pam Turlow. She did a good job but it seemed forced at times to me.

This is one of the best audiobooks I have listened to so far. Being narrated by Lt.Col.Mark Weber made the story even more compelling! The stories that he tells are just amazing and what he went through with his cancer I cannot even begain to imagine. The book left me wanting to hear more about Lt. Col. Mark Weber's life and family.
