ive always been suspicious that the T&T series was Christie's game to test her fans on how much they would accept stupid stories. Her Poirot and Marple series have such well developed characters and layered plots that the T&T stories are no comparison. the characters are often ridiculous, you can see the ending coming a mile away. I only bought this one because it was $0.99, waste of money. the narrator should be fired.

It was a bit puzzling, that Chief Inspector Acton hadn’t mentioned the body they’d discovered in the burnt-out church, even though he must have known that Doyle would find it of great interest. Was the arsonist caught up in her own fire, or was there a deeper, more sinister tale told by the blackened rubble?

Michael, his name is Michael! not Micha. I don't know why she can't say the L's. and we are on our 3rd narrater and the 3rd pronunciation of Munnoz. Don't narrators ask the author how to pronounce uncommon names or words? And the voice characterizations chang with each narrator as well. Williams is paryticularly bad this time. the story is up to Cleeland's usual complicated mystery that will keep you guessing. I just wish Audible would settle on a GOOD narrator and discuss with the author.

I've read several of these in original form and in their adapting them to play form they have left out small but important points which are key to whether the solution makes sense. I recommend reading these stories instead of listening to them in this format.

book is great so far, narration is terrible.

I completely agree with my fellow reviewers that the narration kills this book. I knew that Rene Auberjonios couldn't live forever, even though he was the perfect narrator for the Pendergast series. But I thought they had time to come up with another narrator as good. They have not been shy about having 1-book narrators in the past and they will move on for the next book. I'm going to give this one back and read it on kindle, at least I can imagine better more realistic voices in my head.

I won't be listening to anything from this group again The story didn't make any sense at all you couldn't understand most of it because the audio was so jumbled I guess they wanted it to sound like something going on real but it took away from their performance so much that it just wasn't worth it

wonderful voice acting,, really better listening than reading. the concept of the narrator driving storylines is ingenious. not a fairy tale for little kids. fantastic writing, almost poetic phrasing, you'll definitely enjoy
