Historia
The Book of Job pulls away our illusions and presents life as it really is. Nothing is more valuable than a valid perspective. One of the most painful - but essential - blessings is the stripping away of our delusions and erroneous presuppositions! That is why it is so important to let the Spirit of God set us straight by the Word of God, correcting our thinking and "renewing our minds" (Romans 12:2).

Historia
Parley P. Pratt wrote A Voice of Warning over a two-month period while on a mission to New York. The economy in Kirtland was collapsing, and dissension was rife among Church members. Even Parley became caught up in the dissension and was for a time estranged to Joseph Smith. In an act of renewal, Parley went to New York to preach the gospel and purify himself. With few doors open to him, Parley focused himself on writing, producing A Voice of Warning.

Gossip al? gos·pel /ˈɡäspəl/
Revisado: 03-23-19
For such an informative book it’s strange the reader mispronounces gos·pel
/ˈɡäspəl/.
A thousand times.
That was the strangest part of this book🍄
Other than that, very interesting to me.

Historia
If Isaiah is the “thundering prophet” and Jeremiah is the “weeping prophet”, then Ezekiel is the “weird prophet”! Taken captive in the second wave of Babylonian attacks on Jerusalem in 597 B.C., Ezekiel writes in Babylon about the 13 “visions” that comprise his book (593-573 B.C.) And strange visions they are! Ezekiel is the “street performer” of the prophets, acting out many of his prophecies in dramatic and strange ways. Join Logos Bible Study’s Dr. Bill Creasy as he follows Ezekiel, the weird prophet, in his street theater performance!

I really enjoy having the Bible explored/explained in a way so I understand more of what’s being conveyed.
