Historia
1740s France and England - the age of hedonism and enlightenment. Renard, Duke of Roxton, is wealthy beyond measure. Arrogant and self assured, his heart remains his own. Optimistic and headstrong, Antonia Moran is determined to flee the Court of Versailles with the Duke's unwitting assistance. Roxton is an unlikely savior - arrogant, promiscuous, and sinister. Antonia's unquestioning belief in him may just be his salvation, and her undoing.

Any additional comments?
I listen to lots of audio books, its been a long time since a story drew me in like this one did. This was in large part due to the narration which is top notch.

Historia
Sebastian Kennett is a self-made man-passionate, adventurous, and powerful; a master trader and international shipper; a man who'll risk everything for a profit. Jess Whitby grew up on the mean streets of the East End. Her father's a fine rogue and sometime smuggler. His canny trading and her brilliant management have built them a fortune. Then one of Sebastian's ships goes down and a traitor is to blame. All the Whitbys' money won't protect Jess's father from an accusation of treason.

Another engaging, can't put it down, story from Joanna Bourne. The story is well written and the characters are engaging. The narrator is the icing on the cake: Kirsten Potter is excellent with dialects and voices.

The story was unfinished

What did you like best about A March of Kings? What did you like least?
While the story is good and well written, it 's too short and the ending left one hanging. I actually went back to make sure I'd downloaded the whole thing. So in the end it was disappointing, all I could think was WHAT?
Because of this it was only worth 1/2 a credit.
