It wasn’t a normal book that you would expect from DJ, but it was written well, and I did like the ending, it’s nice having a book like this during this whole “pandemic” thing. Great work DJ, I was not disappointed. Keep up the good work!

Lee Harden is out for blood. After a month, the cartel is looking over their shoulders and jumping at shadows, worried about the madmen in their backyard, who seem obsessed with little else but killing cartel members. Lee continues to claw his way towards revenge, searching for a target to strike at, or a person to destroy, that will force his enemies to reveal themselves. And nothing is going to stop him. Not even Abe.

This is one of the best books I’ve heard in a while. A lot took place and in the end, it left you wanting more as Molles books usually do. But I want to point out one part that caught my attention (spoiler alert) the detail of watching that character burn was phenomenal. So much detail, and so dark I loved it. Can’t give all the credit to D.J, Christian did another outstanding job on narrating, as usual. Thank you to the both of you. I WILL listen to these books again. And can’t wait for the next one. Keep on writing my friend.

Historia
In the beginning, the gods destroyed the world. Five hundred years later, things haven’t gotten much better for humans. The demigods that were left behind to guard over humanity have been using them as fodder for an endless civil war between themselves, and the humans just go on dutifully slaughtering each other, battle after battle. It’s not all bad, though. Perry McGown makes his living off those bloody, stinking battlefields. He works on a crew that reclaims all the spent shell casings. But if anyone found out that he was a deserter from the war, he’d be executed for heresy.

Was hooked from start to finish, which is normal for a D.J. Molles book. Loved Christian Rummel as always. I wish Christian would do all the post apocalyptic books, his voice fits perfectly. I liked how it ended as well, definitely can’t wait for the next one! Hurry up already Molles! I NEED more of Lee!
