More than an NDE story!
Revisado: 12-28-24
This book is a full healing journey, so much more than an account of a NDE.
We will all pass, and we will all lose a loved one, this book helps you to understand on a deeper level and to help let go of fear.
The human spirit amazes me, how much people go through and go on to do great things in life! I had the opportunity to talk to Nicole, such an inspiring woman.
I loved listening to her read this in her own voice.
Thank you Nicole for sharing your story with the world!

Violently gang-raped when she was 13 years old, and raped three more times before the age of 18, Madeleine has experienced more trauma in her life than most ever will. Living in a state of shock and self-loathing, it took her years of struggle to confront the buried memories of that first attack and begin to undo the damage it wrought, as men continued to take advantage of her fragility in the worst possible way. Yet she found the heart to carry out the best revenge plan of all: leading a fulfilling and happy life.

Open and candid account of SA
Revisado: 01-06-23
An important topic that needs more awareness. I’ve been able to relate with some of this book and many other women will as well. This really had me seeing some of my experiences differently.
Madeleine’s experience is all too common, her healing isn’t as common. It may be difficult to read, but it gets better! She takes you through the life-long healing process, the lasting effects of SA.
Thank you Madeleine for being so vulnerable, open & candid.

Historia
Kirby Brown was a seeker who lived a life of passion and adventure. When she and two others died in a sweat lodge at a self-help retreat on October 8, 2009, it shattered her family and friends. Kirby’s mother and sister detail how they learned about Kirby’s ugly death, struggled through their grief, and kept moving forward through the trial of the criminally negligent guru in charge, James Arthur Ray - international best-selling motivational speaker who had been featured in The Secret and on Oprah.

A good read, though Heartbreaking

This touched me in several ways. I lost a sister in her teens, I could relate with the grief, and much of what her family went through. I am amazed at all the family had to endure on top of the grief. My family did not have that experience. I’m so glad you told your side, and gave Kirby a voice - May she rest in so much peace and love.
