Where does The Elders rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I think by far after reading Book 0 to 4 this one is my favorite only because I am already attached with the characters and I know their personalities and Darren has a big challenge in this one which brings a more adventurous side of him because it represents more of a challenge for him and lastly making the listening more intrigue and full of intense moments.

What about Roberto Scarlato’s performance did you like?

His narrative skills sometimes to emphasise some parts adds a lot of drama and suspenseful moments which when I'm listening to them they give me goose bumps. That is also because whenever I can I close my eyes and start listening to the chapters submerging myself in the story, creating the scenarios, emotions and situations described by Roberto.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I always had trouble to when stop listening to the chapters, I work and study which makes my free time reduced but these type of storylines can get me going for a while without being able to get my headphones off. I couldn't sadly to listen to it all in one sitting but is definitely one of those.

If you could sum up The Enlightened in three words, what would they be?

Drama, Unpredictable and breathtaking. Believe me, I haven't been so hooked with a saga before like this one. I can compare this to The Lord of The Rings, it doesn't have the same background or anything but I can relate it to how well written the story is. Every loose end from previous chapters get completed and solved in this new book that for me still wouldn't close completely the story. The universe of the mind dimension, is indeed, a dimension so vastly deep like the mind itself. You can create stories from stories and keep letting your imagination going.

What does Roberto Scarlato bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The whole character and personality of the characters. I always love listening to audiobooks more than reading them. I like them because I can listen to them anywhere, in the traffic, laying down, at the gym. Sometimes it feels like a song, you get trapped by the whole scenario that the song is creating, the ambient, the sensations, the feelings, that's what happens when I listen to The Enlightened.

Any additional comments?

I believe that this saga had so much potential since the very fist beginning, and I am so glad that I could've listen to the whole saga. Each book amplifies your panorama of the story in a way that, once you start you get hooked up to see what's next and that's why you go to the next book devouring each one incessantly. But there's also a good thing, if you would read for example, this 3rd book without reading the previous books, you would understand everything that is happening and is enough to caught your attention, you wouldn't know why is it happening because you haven't read the previous ones, and that would be exactly why you would read them, to know how a intense, creative and complicated story was brought to life.

Where does The Time Stopper rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Is hard to decide where The Time Stopper is ranked in my audiobooks, but is sure in a high rank for all the intrigue, action and emotions involved in this mini-prequel. I love when the author makes an insight to the life of one of the most relevant actors in a book, it makes me feel like the world in the book is more real, more profound and deep that i thought at first.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Time Stopper?

Mira helped me to see the story in a different perspective. Her personality is sexy, reckless, strong and secure of herself. Is definitely the type of woman I was picturing from looking at the girl in the cover. She transmits that definition of Mira with the help of the narrator Laura Jennings, she does an amazing job impersonating Mira.

What does Laura Jennings bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I enjoyed when she starts describing her obscure past. It starts to make sense why she is like so cold and unemotional in a way and Laura Jennings is perfect to describe the personality of Mira.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Mira helped me to see the story in a different perspective. Her personality is sexy, reckless and strong and secure of herself. Is definitely the type of woman I was picturing from looking at the girl in the cover. She transmits that definition of Mira with the help of the narrator Laura Jennings, she does an amazing job impersonating Mira. It made me react sensitive to Mira's story.

Any additional comments?

I wish it was a longer prequel.

Would you listen to The Thought Pushers again? Why?

Yes, I would listen to the book again. But I couldn't decide which one is better. I don't think that one is better than the other. Both have their pro's and con's. Although I like some characteristics of listening the book like for example different impersonations from the narrator. He gives them life and I really like that. So as a personal a personal preference I would stick with the audio edition.

What did you like best about this story?

Darren all the time. I love all he has to go through and he knows how to deal with things like no one other. His personality is intriguing and I like that mysticism that revolves around him.

What about Roberto Scarlato’s performance did you like?

He brought action, drama, emotions and a well representation of each character. If I would just read the book, of course I would enjoy it also, there was an awesome cliff hanger from book 1 which will bring me those emotions I experienced. But Roberto Scarlato brings to life my imagination of how the story unfolds.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Definitely, I've been always so interested in this kind of science fiction so I enjoy these listenings and readings on a weekend free of my duties, with some headphones and I transport to these realities provided by these kind of books.

Any additional comments?

I've been intrigued now with the book 0 which gives us an insight of Mira's life from what can I see about the description, I think is going to be a complementary listening for this amazing story by Dima Zales & Anna Zaires. And last but not least, if there's going to be a sequel, please make it come faster!

What did you love best about The Thought Readers?

That everything was related in a way and he could see these relations inside his head. Is a really interesting subject to discuss because is a science fiction story that it could be not so fictional at all. That's the intrigue and thrilling of the book.

What did you like best about this story?

When he finds out that he's not the only one who can get into The Quiet, and plus, is a woman! Is like a science fiction not conventional romance, more like a mind romance where they find attraction because of their particular singularities.

Which scene was your favorite?

That he narrated the book like he was Darren in first person. For me that has pro's and con's. I liked it because it was more of an "inside of his head point of view" and that related so nice with the whole plot of the story, it was like those movies filmed from the character's eyes point of view, like for example, Enter The Void. It felt like that and I liked it. But, to be honest, I enjoy more when the narrator changes drastically character's voices and because Roberto's narration was just over Darren's point of view it lost that. Is just because I've previously enjoyed the book The Sorcery Code Volume 1, also by Dima Zales, and I like that the way the narrator in that book, personifies each character. Is just a personal preference.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When Darren was explaining the relation of The Quiet with lucid dreams, I felt so intrigued and moved by that scene because I've been interested in lucid dreams a while ago and when he mentioned them it sucked me in to the book.

Any additional comments?

I hope that The Thought Readers expands to more volumes because is a really nice book and concept to keep developing.

What made the experience of listening to The Sorcery Code: Volume 1 the most enjoyable?

The opportunity to get into every character and every story in the book. Every chapter made me imagine exactly each scenario in which the story unfolded. I closed my eyes and I could feel transporting me to very enchanted places. The words used also gave me a sense of being in another century. It was an involving storytelling.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Definitely my favorite character of the entire book was Gala. Her personality it was captivating, sensual, innocence but yet very intelligent and adventurous, the perfect personality for a woman. So much better personality than Augusta’s.

Which character – as performed by Emily Durante – was your favorite?

Gala again. She define throughout the book Gala’s voice very precise when she was unfolding in the scenes and it was going along all the time with her attitudes. I also liked Blaise personality. They were my favorite characters.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Of course I wanted to listen to this book in one sitting. Unfortunately my schedule didn’t let me listen to more than an hour per day but that had some pros at the end. I was able to be more intrigued and excited of what was going to happen in the next chapter.

Any additional comments?

It makes me feel like at the expectation for the sequel because I love fantasy-oriented and mythical stories such as Harry Potter or The Lord of the Rings and The Sorcery Code can compare to the big ones.
