Historia
A lone man sat at a table by a window in the Dickens Room of the Tip Top Inn, Chicago. He had finished his dinner and was apparently waiting for his black coffee to be served. Two men entered and were shown to a table nearby. Presently one of them glanced at the man by the window. "See that man over there?" he whispered to his companion. "Yes," said the latter, looking disinterestedly in the direction indicated. "Well, that is Obvious Adams."

A powerful reminder that there is no sexy quick fix.
Revisado: 04-27-24
As a marketing director, you are constantly bombarded with these sexy, complex ideas and marketing tactics. This book is a reminder to do what is obvious. Stop looking for the silver bullet, and start doing what is right in front of you. People are just people. That’s it.

She found that leaders in organizations ranging from small entrepreneurial startups and family-owned businesses to nonprofits, civic organizations, and Fortune 50 companies all ask the same question: How do you cultivate braver, more daring leaders, and how do you embed the value of courage in your culture? This audiobook answers this question.

Other books did it better.
Revisado: 09-08-23
Really, I'm spoiled. I'm used to consuming Jocko Willink and Alex Hormozi content which is VALUE PACKED from beginning to the very last moment. They don't waste your time AT ALL. A lot of this book seemed bloated to me.
Besides, other books did a lot of this better. Part of the reason is they are focused on doing 1 thing well instead of do everything.
Here are the books I would read instead:
Never Split the Difference - Chris Voss
Leadership And Self Deception - Arbinger Institute
5 Dysfunctions of a team - Patrick Linconi
Based on other people's reports, The Coaching Habit and The Anatomy of Peace are other books that I would consider as a substitute.
Surrounded by Idiots - Thomas Erikson
Extreme Ownership - Jocko Willink

Excellent content. Twice as long as it needed to be.
Revisado: 07-12-22
I don’t have much to complain about in terms of the content! It’s a great book that brings together concepts from a number of other books well.
Why I gave it 3 stars: It’s probably 2X longer than it needed to be and becomes repetitive. I ended up throwing it on 3.5x speed and downloading the handbook PDF to reference since it is essentially the takeaways you’ll want to walk away from this book with anyway.
