Historia
From the “mean” streets of Baltimore to Stanford Ph.D. to Black Woman Millionaire. Dr. Venus Opal Reese has some shit to say. Starting with an audio performance of The Raw Truth: A Pimp Daughter’s Diary, followed by a series of topics that cover real-life & money matters, this show is all about giving yourself permission. Permission to be wounded AND wealthy. Permission to flaunt your freak flag unafraid. Permission to be a bunch of contradictions that somehow, someway, make a perfect whole. Real talk: life, like money, is not neat. But that’s the good news! You don’t have to be ...

There Is Power In Being Able To Deliver ALL Truths
Revisado: 12-23-21
I have listened and learned from Dr. Venus on Facebook. As a daughter of dispossession, I have never been so inspired in my life. I love the unapologetic delivery Dr. Venus serves and each talk she gives as raw as it may be, also comes from a place to manifest reconstruction for those of us starting our journey of healing from generational atrocities our families and communities are living out to date. I am so grateful to have been connected with her work. Thank you Dr.

Historia
Our brains do their best to help us out, but every so often they can be real assholes - having meltdowns, getting addicted to things, or shutting down completely at the worst possible moments. Your brain knows it's not good to do these things, but it can't help it sometimes - especially if it's obsessing about trauma it can't overcome. That's where this life-changing book comes in. With humor, patience, science, and lots of good-ole swearing, Dr. Faith explains what's going on in your skull, and talks you through the process of retraining your brain to respond appropriately....

I HAVE BEEN REBORN AND I AM ONLY ON CHAPTER 4
Revisado: 11-14-20
i appreciate every curse word in this book. As a trauma survivor since birth into America...
I highly recommend this book to anyone with ears and life in 2020.
The healing time is now. We all need to UN**** OUR BRAINS AND GET BACK TO REALITY so we can relish in peace and love instead of what ever this is we have going on here on this planet.
Thank you Doctor!

In this enlightening book, scholars and activists Roxanne Dunbar-Ortiz and Dina Gilio-Whitaker tackle a wide range of myths about Native American culture and history that have misinformed generations. Tracing how these ideas evolved, and drawing from history, the authors disrupt long-held and enduring myths.

Really Interested In The Next...
Revisado: 11-01-20
I loved the presentation and the information. I really enjoyed every second of this book. I am curious as to see how, House Resolution 861 2011-2012 PA Legislature, will drive the next installments of the Native/Indigenous and their history in books to come.
This for most of us has been so hard to figure out and to process.
Thank you.

Historia
In 2013 Assata Shakur, founding member of the Black Liberation Army, former Black Panther and godmother of Tupac Shakur, became the first ever woman to make the FBI's most wanted list. Assata Shakur's trial and conviction for the murder of a white State Trooper in the spring of 1973 divided America. Her case quickly became emblematic of race relations and police brutality in the USA. While Assata's detractors continue to label her a ruthless killer, her defenders cite her as the victim of a systematic, racist campaign.

Historia
As President Trump’s national security advisor, John Bolton spent many of his 453 days in the room where it happened, and the facts speak for themselves. The result is one of the few White House memoirs to date by a top-level official. With almost daily access to the president, John Bolton has produced a precise rendering of his days in and around the Oval Office. What Bolton saw astonished him: a president for whom getting reelected was the only thing that mattered, even if it meant endangering or weakening the nation.
