I love the unique concept of United States of True Crime focusing a book on each state. I've listened to most of the states and I feel the author gets better as the series progresses. I enjoy the way she tells the story that sticks to the facts without all the speculation popular among amateur detectives in the genre.

Of course gruesome acts are covered, but not in a way that is vulgar or insensitive.

If you like true crime you should definitely check out this series!

Timeless wisdom well narrated

The Richest Man in Babylon and The Science of Getting Rich have stood the test of time as the most influential and informative books about making money. Personally I love the Richest Man because of the parables that put personal finance advice into real world (albeit ancient) scenarios. The Science of Getting Rich reminds readers that their mindset is directly correlated to their ability to earn riches. I found the narrator to be articulate with the appropriate amount of enthusiasm for the subject matter.

Great true crime collection

I love all of the United States of True Crime series. The latest installment, California, discusses 20 cases, most of which I hadn’t heard of.

This set is an amazing value with 5 books in 1.

This coverage is awesome for people who want to know the facts at a high level and can later look more at specific cases in depth. There’s no amateur detective speculations. These books stick to the facts.

Ashley’s voice is ideal for this genre.

Loved hearing about cases I wasn’t familiar with. Really interesting crimes in California.

The author did a great job narrating.

I’ve read multiple books in this series and can’t wait to read them all!

Spectacular review on Arkansas

As one of my first true crime books i was surprised in how well written the author had conveyed the message. Not taking a side but just telling the facts in a way that made you want to keep listening. Can’t wait to try the other states!
