Historia
The Panic Virus is a gripping scientific detective story about how grassroots radicals, snake-oil salesmen, and cynical journalists have perpetrated the biggest health-scare hoax of all time. It explores what happens when the media treats all viewpoints as equally valid, regardless of facts, from parents who are convinced that vaccines caused their children's autism to right-wing radicals who believe that climate change is a myth

Interesting but slow
Revisado: 10-27-14
What did you like best about The Panic Virus? What did you like least?
The topics covered are very interesting but the way it is discussed seems to be the same stories retold in different ways over and over. I wish it focused more on the social/psychological aspects at work rather than specific autism vacine cases.

Great reader, makes a great story even better!

Where does A Dance with Dragons rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Roy Dotrice does a fantastic job reading this book and all of the books in the GOT series. He has various voices for each of the characters and is consistent throught. The change in voices makes it really easy to help keep all of the characters straight especially since Martin's writting has the reader bouncing around from storyline to storyline.
Highly recommend this and the whole series.

Historia
The most fatal virus known to science, rabies kills nearly 100 percent of its victims once the infection takes root in the brain. From Greek myths to zombie flicks, from the laboratory heroics of Louis Pasteur to the contemporary search for a lifesaving treatment, Rabid is a fresh, fascinating, and often wildly entertaining look at one of mankind’s oldest and most fearsome foes.

What did you love best about Rabid?
Interesting book about the history of rabies and how it has played a role in society over the years. Was well read and story kept you interested even when the topic could otherwise be seen as dry.
