Over the years, I have written a ton of erotic fiction under numerous pen names — doing it for websites and magazines, and self-publishing stories and novels, as well. And sometimes I have even made a very nice living at it! But when I first started out, even though I loved sex and I wanted to write all about it and create steamy tales with great characters and hot scenes, I wasn’t quite sure how to go about doing it.

Looking back now, I wish I had a book like this that gave me loads of advice, including all the nitty-gritty details about writing different kinds of stories and scenes; style and technique; what words to use; what it’s like to be an author; where and how to publish erotic fiction…all of that and more. So that’s why I wrote this book -- to give you erotic fiction writing advice and answer some of the things you might be wondering about...or even be too afraid to ask!

This book is not intended to be the “final word” or the “ultimate authority” on writing erotic fiction. Nor is it intended to be another “How to make big money quick by writing erotic fiction” book, either (there are enough of those out there already). It is simply some of my hard-won advice based on a whole lot of trial-and-error, failures and successes. I hope it becomes a helpful guide and resource in your journey to becoming an erotic fiction writer!
