Kyle escapes to his basement den to avoid the chaos of whatever social gathering is going on. He prefers it that way, until Beka Bayou shows up and convinces him that not all the moms in the neighborhood are the same. How does she do that you might ask? With her body, of course.
One of my favorite things about the Shenanigans of Beka Bayou series is that Beka really is everyone's fantasy. In this story, specifically? Maybe not, but that is why there are plenty of stories for you to choose from. You can find the Beka Bayou that most tickles your fancy and you are always left with a guaranteed happy ending.
Aracelis Gotay's narration was wickedly delicious in all of the right places. I'd never heard of her work before this book, and I hope to hear it again sometime soon.
