I’ve read age gap romance but this is the first one I’ve read with such a big gap of 20 years. I wasn’t sure I’d like it but Nikki Sloane always sucks me into her stories every time and she did it again with this one! It is definitely mostly spice with some plot along the way, but it was written so well! The plot is a taboo romance as she hooks up with the dad after she breaks up with her boyfriend! Also, if you’re ever had a doctor fantasy then this is totally the book for you to read! Kris Janae is a new to me narrator and although her voice isn’t my favorite it was still a good listen for me!

I was hoping for a steamy, funny, lustful story and this just wasn't it. I was bored for the first 70% of the book. The last bit was better but this just wasn't it for me.

I enjoyed the book. I haven’t read a book with a one sided perspective in a long time so it was an adjustment not being in his head too. The spice was great! I wish the book had jumped farther into the future than 4 months so we could see if they got married, had a family, and she became a vet, but that would be my main change. If you liked Birthday Girl, you will probably like this, too. It was predictable, but a good read. Finished it in one sitting.

This is my first audiobook I’ve listened to by this author and it didn’t disappoint. The Spice was perfect. The storyline didn’t have much of a plot. If you loved Birthday Girl by Penelope Douglas you will love this book.

This is my first time reading a book from this author, and it surely won’t be my last. I don’t know how I haven’t read a book by her sooner. This book was so good and such a fun read! I thoroughly enjoyed the age gap and forbidden aspect! There was a ton of angst in this book which got to me, and I had to stop reading it a few times, but once I got over it, I sailed on through. This is easily a book that could be read in one sitting. It’s quite a fast read and pretty spicy! This book reminded me of Birthday Girl and You’re Dad Will Do, and I absolutely loved every second of it. I highly recommend it, especially if you love, age gap and forbidden romance.

This was a fun read. The spice was great,and I loved the trope. This is the perfect read when you need a break from all the heavy,dark serious stuff. I really enjoyed this listen.

This was my first book of Nikki Sloane's and she did not disappoint. I read her book blub and saw it was an "Age Gap" trope and jumped on it. This book was SO GOOD!

We are introduced in the beginning of the book with Cassidy (FMC) and Preston. They are both in for the summer from college and there is tension between them. Cassidy can sense they are both in two phases of their lives and she feels not loved anymore by Preston. So she decides its time to take a break and she breaks up their relationship. Preston's Dad is there watching how their relationship has down spiraled and agrees with Cassidy that maybe its a good thing to take a step back. When she is gathering her things to leave she hugs Dr. Greg Lowe (MMC & Preston's Dad) knowing she won't be around to see him again and that is when things turn between them.

Dr. Greg Lowe and Cassidy apparently have a connection and have had some feelings toward each other and they can not deny the sexual tension they have between each other. The steamy scenes are hot as can be between them. Now their age gap is quite significant (20 years) but they seem to have a wonderful connection. You get to see Dr. Greg and Cassidy's relationship grow and blossom as they spend time together.

If you love the Tropes such as Age Gap, Ex's Dad, Taboo Romance, Forbidden Romance then this is the right book for you. You will not be disappointed.....I PROMISE!
