This book had me in a roller coaster of emotions and it had the most delicious spicy scenes that made me ache for more!!! The ending had me on the edge of my seat and now I’m craving book two!!!!! The voice actors were perfect for this book and I couldn’t imagine anyone else doing them!!

Omg what a fun spicy read! From watching from a distance to boss employee to lovers. The performance was perfection particularly Sean Masters as Jonah.

I definitely don’t want a stalker ever but Jonah was almost sweet in the ways he watched out for her plus I’m a sucker for a protective streak. 🔥🔥🔥🔥

I thoroughly enjoyed this book! The story was engaging and kept me hooked throughout. I loved the dual narration between the male and female voices and they did a good job bringing the characters to life. Overall, this book was a fun listen and I’m definitely looking forward to more from this author in the future. Hopefully we get more Brad in the second book!

TLDR: Never have I ever wanted a stalker…
But I'd let Jonah stalk me in a heartbeat, even without his fortune. Kalyn is a very relatable protagonist. Shay and Jonathan are the best sidekicks. Jenevieve is the worst kind of mean girl. A truly worthwhile read!

As someone who has consumed more than 100 smutty romance novels in the past year, I was thoroughly impressed with everything in this book, from the smut, to the story, to the imagery used to build the various settings.

The use of duet narration in this audiobook was a brilliant investment on Kaliope’s part, along with the choice of voices. Dahlia Summers has such a sweet, emotive voice that brings life to the various female characters in all their nuance. Sean Masters does an amazing job of giving each male character a voice suited to their personality, while making sure that Jonah's voice is hot enough to send tingles down your spine and melt your insides.

The spicy scenes are so mouthwatering that it's a miracle I didn't drool on my phone, and sure to make one's heart skip a beat or 5. It's impossible not to be completely sucked into every encounter between Jonah and Kalyn. It's entirely likely that Jonah and Kalyn have ruined me for all real men. I may just maintain a vow of celibacy until I break a man's ability to get it up for anyone other than me. I'm surprised I didn't experience spontaneous combustion while listening. I did however develop a near permanent blush.

On top of that, the depth of the actual story cannot be overstated. There is so much more to the story than love and sex. I laughed uproariously, felt burning rage, smiled wistfully, and even cried at certain parts. Kaliope did a beautiful job of writing the complex emotional states experienced by her characters, and building a world full of interconnecting lives, events, and relationships.

It's addicting! As soon as I got to the end of the first book, I NEEDED the next installment so badly that I'm actually READING a book instead of listening to it, knowing full well that I'm going to listen to it repeatedly after the audiobook finally comes out. Bravo!

OK, don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed this book; but it’s definitely mostly drama and spice.

Things happen pretty much the way you expect them to but you’re still going to get all the feels from the audiobook, which I think is absolutely helped by the amazing narrators. This book has simultaneous dual narration (no idea if that’s actually what it’s called but that’s what I’ve dubbed it). Both narrators do a stunning job with all the voices!

The only thing I didn’t really enjoy was the constant mention of how teeny tiny the FMC is. Of course, there’s nothing wrong with it but the amount of times that it’s mentioned borders on strange lol.

This is the first time reading something by the Author. Holy smokes did it set the bar high! The story is so well written, I didn’t want it to end! The narrators did such a wonderful job, I felt like this story was playing out right in front of me. Duel narration can be tricky if the voices don’t mesh well together but these two were MADE to be Kalyn & Jonah.
