“There you go,” he said and held out his hand when he stepped forward.
Simone made sure to brush her fingers against his when she took the bills.
“Thanks, Mr. Robertson,” she said sweetly and put the money in her pocket.
“I told you, call me Jacob,” he replied.
It gave Simone an opening that she readily took.
“Isn’t that a bit familiar…, I mean, I’m so much younger.”
She saw the way he slid his tongue around his lips when their gazes came together, but he couldn’t hold the eye contact and looked down at the floor. It made her hesitate, but she finally ended the slightly awkward silence by blurting out the words on her mind.
“It’s OK…, if you look.”
Jacob slid the tip of his tongue around his mouth again when he glanced up. Simone could see in his eyes that he was having similar thoughts to her. He wanted to do more than look but was obviously wrestling with whether that was a smart idea considering their age difference. There was also the small matter of her being his babysitter. She sensed it was up to her to push things forward, and the words came out before she could stop them.
“Or you could…”
It was all she got out before Jacob gave in to desires that were too strong to contain. A kiss found her lips. His arms came around her waist and she let out a muffled gasp as she was pulled into an embrace. It was even better than she imagined, and there was no controlling the flare of passion. The way his hungry mouth crushed onto hers took her breath and she could still feel the tingle of the kiss after it ended. She staggered back a step when the grip on her hips was released.
“You know this is wrong,” Jacob said.
Simone simply nodded her head at first when she took another step back.
“But you’re not going to stop, are you,” she let out quietly.
“Do you want me to?” he asked.
Simone shook her head vigorously to answer…

Simone let out a squeal when a shove on her shoulder sent her crashing down onto the sofa. It brought a slight panic that they might be heard, and she looked to Jacob when he dropped to his knees in front of her.
“Pretty skirt,” Jacob said in a gruff rasp…
