I'm going to preface this review by saying, Kora and Tariq are the reason husbands, wives, girlfriends, and boyfriends NEVER trust so called "BFFs" of the opposite sex. With that being said, I have to say, Inevitable Conclusions started out kind of slow for me. Even with it opening with a sex scene. But, as the book progressed, it really started to pick up. I'm a sucker for friends to lovers romance so, while I loved Tariq and Kora as a couple, they worked my last nerve! They spent so much time worrying about why they shouldn't be in a relationship when, whether they knew it or not, they had already been in one for 30 years! It seemed like everyone but them knew they loved each other and should be together. I'm just glad it didn't take most of the book for them to finally find some common sense and come to that realization. This romance was swoon worthy and real. You honestly can’t go wrong with a Christina C. Jones book. I am definitely her new number one fan!

The back stories of Tariq and Cora’s lives and friendship were beautifully written. I enjoyed the way the author weaved in the storyline of the other characters in a thoughtful way. Looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

Tariq is my absolute favorite character. This book made me laugh, cry, fuss at Kora, then understand Kora. It was narrated by the best narrators in the business.

I read this on kindle enjoyed it so much more on Audible. So happy Tariq and Cora figured it out!

Great Story and Narration

First time reading this author and I love her work. This story was sexy, tantalizing and captivating. Christina wrote this book with such detail it made it very easy to put myself in every scene. The narrators also did a great job in the reading. Great choices for your characters. I’ll be reading another one of Christina’s books very soon.

"Inevitable Conclusions" was interesting from jump off!! Kora and Tariq definitely had their ups and downs, their ins and outs (no pun intended) and their fair share of confusion and suprising hardship growing up and together. but Honey let me tell you there was plenty of fire 🔥, spice 🌶️, bones in the closets🦴, crazy friends and subtle nuances. I could not stop listening!!! And that's exactly how I like my books to be!! Do yourself a favor, listen to/read this book and if you haven't read the others I've listed listen/read those too, they are so hot!!!

When I first started listening to romantical (is that even a word) series I was just strolling through looking for something in order to lift my spirits or give me a chuckle or two plus tug at my heart strings.. I love romance novels but they weren't quite deep enough for me (or realistic enough) until I hopped up on audible to see what I was paying for and missing. The authors I have come across have truly outdone themselves! I tend to like my books in series because they ebb and flow but take you through a fantastic journey of a complete family And it's dynamics. I may be a little behind times but I have definitely enjoyed trying to catch up starting with "The McClain Brothers", "In the heart of a Valentine", "Falling for a Rose", "Bennett Affair", "Strickland Sisters", "Them Boys"... Phew, I have definitely put in my listening time, but then what else do I have to do!??

This book was realistic and really good. True friendship is indeed the foundation for a authentic love. I appreciated the love between the two characters as well as the integrity all of the characters exhibited even when tested. I love that it showed how we are inherently good people. not ratchet. not immature. no stereotypes at play here and I appreciated it!

Another great story line and the narrators we're phenomenal as usual. I love how she ties the characters from other books into each story which makes them all relatable. A very good read indeed!
