On the anniversary of the event, Grant requests a catharsis scene with Mistress Miranda. She’s a thorough and surprisingly strong Domme, can she give him what he needs? These two are the perfect yin and yang for each other, and the instant connect they build is both surprising and delightful. Plus, the always steamy-dreamy Robert Hackett narrates this story - I could listen to him read and encyclopedia (if he could find one, they’re getting rare!) and be enthralled. A fantastic story and a terrific listen.

On the anniversary of his friend's death- which he blames himself for- Grant takes part in a cathartic BDSM scene with Domme Mistress Miranda. He later shows up at her penthouse not wanting to be alone. This was a very short story. Will Grant get any closure and will anything come of Miranda's time with him? I got a little bored in the middle with the more interesting parts being the scene at the beginning and the "bonding" at the end. But I liked that you get a good feel of who the characters are and their stories. This was my first book by this author.

This was also the first book I listened to narrated by Robert Hatchet. I loved his voice! Perfect tone and pacing and it's the kind of voice I could listen to all day. I definitely will be on the lookout for more of his work!

I listen to and read more MM romance than MF romance, and I didn't listen to this audiobook until a few weeks after I got it. I actually forgot this was a MF and not MM, so when it started [with Miranda's chapter], I with picturing a man's point of view until addressed as 'Mistress' and then I stopped to check what I was listening to lol So I couldn't tell Robert was doing a female voice. He always sounds like a man- though more seductive as Miranda. In something longer it might have annoyed me because if I didn't pay attention to whose chapter it was I would never tell by his voice. But I loved his voice so much I didn't care.

This was a short and smexy story. Robert Hatchet did a very good job with the narration. He has a very pleasant voice for this type of story. I received this free copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Grant's Gambit is a quick one hour read/listen the story is attention keeping and has a well written BDSM scene there is some guilt grief and talk of death in the story.
