Velika and Quinn's relationship was doomed from the start. Velika was a seasoned warrior who wasn't afraid of challenges. The vampire princess was determined to win Quinn's heart, defend her against a rival, and then claim her.

Spicy, predictable but enjoyable and Would recommend. The both of the narrators made this story better.

Both of the narrators were good and I didn't feel jarred transitioning from one to the other. The story was engaging and kept me wanting to know what was going to happen next. I loved the chemistry between the two leads. Definitely worth a listen if you're into vampire romances

I really enjoyed this book. The narrators were great and the story was well written. The you could feel the MCs bond. The book is nice and spicy.

I loved reading this book. And I loved this audible edition just as much. If you enjoy Vampires, this is the listen for you

I was really excited about this book. The storyline immediately caught my attention. The characters are strong. I felt as if the story was a little rushed and I was left wanting more. There was not a lot of character development which I would had loved to see. The love scenes were spicy which was great!
I myself am not a big fan of 2 narrators because the characters usually are portrayed differently in tone and sound. This was the case here. Quinn’s narrator was a higher tone and more dramatic. Velika’s narrator was lower and more sultry. The latter of the two fit more to the story I felt.

The book is great and I’ll be listening to more in the series.

the story is a bit inconsistent in the beginning with the characters going from not even wanting to meet to tearing each other's clothes off in the span a paragraph but their relationship is sweet and the story was good.
I would have liked to have more one-on-one interactions between them without the danger or sexual tension more of them falling in love instead of the insta love and many more proof or the use of quens "deadly fear of vampires" or "original plan to escape" hell even a failed escape attempt would have built on the chemistry and gave the characters depth they just didn't really have.
it a comfortable listening and if I wanted something more relationship and plot driven this wouldn't be it, but as something to wind down with and just enjoy it decent

Great story potential. Main characters weren’t consistent. One had the character scared - for good reasons - but on first day of meeting her matched vampire she barely shows it. Most of the time she needs education on vampires but then she assertively makes the case that she is best to go asking for questions about the bad vampire. A second later she’s scared again. The lack of consistency made it impossible to stay in the book. Book is rushed in most spaces.
