Aspiring hairstylist, Logan Taylor, has put her dreams on hold to see her sister through school, per her parents' last wishes. Stressed and working two jobs—barely making ends meet and on the brink of burnout, she's faced with no other choice; get another job and hope things let up… soon.

Khamari Coleman is in Lavendale to enjoy All-Star weekend—the first of his career, connecting with old friends and hopefully, procuring a new home to further his life in basketball. What he wasn't expecting was to be smitten by a doe-eyed beauty with an air of mystery around her.

I should have followed my first mind and waited on both books to come out on audio. This story was too good to leave me hanging like that. I got soooooo many questions. I gotta carve out time in my work schedule to read the next installment since I don't see a potential release date. As a reader, I feel like I'm pouting about the ending but I encourage you to use that credit because it was good and so was the narration.

First, Aubree, Lauryn and Midnite did what needed to be done. Chef’s kiss! Khamari and Logan are a match from the moment they meet. Getting there was a more difficult road than it should've been. The jealousy and stupidity of some of those around them tried to ruin them before they started, but when one of them was weak the other was strong. This story will have you rooting for them with all your might, especially behind the ignorance of those who threatened them. This one has left us happy and heated. Blood pressure warning unlocked! The story ends on somewhat of a cliffhanger, and we can't wait to devour season two to catch up on Lavendale & the WAGS.

The narrator was so good. The story line kept me engaged and wanting more. The author did a great job painting the picture with her words and the narrators brought the story to life perfectly with their voices.

I loved this book, Khamari and Logan love story was so realistic. They truly bossed up.

I love how secure the MMC was is helping his lady win! I love a good series and this one is on point. I can’t wait for the next audiobook!

I have to say Lauryn Nichols is by far one of my favorite narrators. Her narrating is so expressive. Love her!!! Great story line. Beautiful HEA!!

Loved this couple, K WAS NOT playing behind Logan! Got his mama, his sister, everybody together about her! Looking forward to the next installment in the series.

Midnite and Lauryn did a great job narrating, I enjoy them both.
