Simpson, CFP® is a practitioner with over 30 years of experience in the securities industry which she entered in 1991 and holds Series 7, 63, and 65 Securities licenses. On September 11, 2001, her life was drastically altered as a financial planner working at 2 World Trade Center on the 73rd floor. Simpson was still in the building on the 44th floor when Tower 2 was hit during the World Trade Center attacks. Today, Simpson compassionately assists families on how to begin to walk along the road to recovery when faced with a catastrophic, unexpected disaster. She is actively involved in spiritual, emotional and economic empowerment. A compelling empowerment speaker, television/ radio personality and author, Ms. Simpson travels throughout the United States teaching in a practical and easy to understand manner. Her simple approach motivates everyone who hears her message to take action to change their future. Her commitment is to engage people with the thought, “If money were not an issue, what would be your life’s purpose?” Pastor Nicole’s life began to take shape when she turned seven years old. Gifted with a bible by her mom she spent most her time in her room reading the red words in that Bible, sparking her interest. Those red words told her to do good to please God and it taught her how to pray. It was through scripture, she learned how to seek God’s comfort in the midst of every storm. Like most individuals, she has suffered unexpected, significant personal tragedy that affected her entire family emotionally and financially. What is critical, but often avoided, is the experience and willingness to share strategies that instruct others how to overcome unexpected disasters that can stagnate one’s personal life because of a crisis. “How does one pick up the pieces of their life and move toward their ordained purpose?” She can answer those questions and put into perspective the necessary steps to begin the recovery process. In January 2016, she embarked on a new life journey becoming the Pastor of Micah 7 Ministries located in Piscataway, NJ. Her media profile includes appearances on TEDxMaviliSquare in May 2023, ABC News, CNN News, BBC World News, Huffington Post, Crains NY Business, Fox News, PBS and UPN 9. She is a Board Member of CFP Board Center for Financial Planning Diversity Advisory Group, Chair of the Generation X Community Association, and Provost of the Dare 2 Dream Institute. She frequently speaks on the lecture circuit and has authored several books on financial and life planning. Two of her books, Dare 2 Dream and The Quiet Shift were awarded Third Place in the BookFest Awards and was featured on the NASDAQ billboard in New York Times Square. In addition, The Quiet Shift received the International Book Award Finalist recognition for 2023 in the category Health: Aging/50+ and it won the inaugural Literary Global Book Award in the category Health: Aging/50+. Her commitment to financial education and planning was recognized as she was named Investopedia’s Top 100 Independent Financial Advisors for 2022 and 2023, Investment News Hot 100 for 2023 while also being recognized with The Investment News Woman to Watch Trailblazer of the Year Finalist and an honorable mention by Invest in Others as Trailblazer of the Year in 2023. She released her strategic leadership guidebook in November 2023 titled Out of the Woods, Put Some Respect on Our Names with her sister. In December 2023, she was featured again on the New York Times Square billboard for her many accomplishments. Nicole received a Doctorate in Transformational Leadership with top honors from Boston University, an M.Div. Magna Cum Laude from New Brunswick Theological Seminary, and a B.S. Cum Laude from Oral Roberts University. After 30 years of industry experience that recognizes an economic cultural reckoning is occurring, Simpson is equipped, realizing she is an anomaly and has much to contribute to the inevitable change America is demanding. This reality demands her to be available as a “teacher, trainer, mentor, guidance counselor”.
