Mary Anne Richey, M.Ed., a Licensed School Psychologist, has seen first-hand how successful children with ADHD can be when provided with the right supports and treatment. She is passionate about helping parents understand the potential impacts of ADHD from toddlerhood through the teen age years and most importantly, how they can best support their children. She provides the latest research in an understandable format and practical behavioral and educational strategies that can be implemented immediately. As a school psychologist in private practice, she uses a strength-based approach in working with parents and children diagnosed with ADHD and evaluates children with learning disabilities and for gifted eligibility. She consults with teachers and schools and has presented workshops at schools, as well as at state and national organizations on ADHD, executive functioning difficulties, and learning disabilities. She brings years of experience in working with children in many different capacities including as a middle school teacher, administrator, high school guidance counselor, and adjunct college instructor. She has assisted many students with ADHD and learning disabilities to learn to use their strengths to accommodate their weaknesses.
