AJ Newman is the author of 56 science fiction and mystery novels and also has 27 audiobooks that have been published on Amazon and Audible. He was born and raised in a small town in western Kentucky. His Dad taught him how to handle guns very early in life, and he and his best friend Mike spent summers shooting .22 rifles and fishing. Reading is his passion, and he read every book he could get his hands on. He fell in love with science fiction. He graduated from USI with a degree in Chemistry and made a career working in manufacturing and logistics, but he always fancied himself as an author. His inspiration for his “Pre-History apocalyptic stories comes straight from current events. Science fiction is tomorrow’s fact. AJ served six years in the Army National Guard in an armored unit and spent six years performing every function on M48 and M60 army tanks. This gave him great respect for our veterans who lay their lives on the line to protect our country and freedoms. He resides in Western Kentucky with his wife, June and their tiny Shih Tzus, Callie, and Benny. Quote from AJ Newman: "I have always been a fan of Science Fiction and Mystery novels and wanted to write a novel since I was 10 years old. I try to make my characters become the kind of people that you see in your neighborhood and place them in life-changing situations. Only then, can you tell how they will react and their true character is revealed. None are role models just like the rest of us in this world. My heroes rise to the occasion and do what it takes to survive and beat the bad guys. My villains are bad and deserve what they get. I'm not into political correctness. God created all people equally. What they do after birth makes them heroes or villains."
