About this listen

An erotic paranormal story

After Kayla Swan discovers a mysterious rock in the attic, strange things start to occur. At first, it seems as though someone - or something - is in the house with her at night. Then a mysterious man arrives on her doorstep to ask all sorts of weird questions. When she meets him, nothing will ever be the same again.

“This is some Inception BS, right there.”
Of the short stories so far, this one makes the most effort to expand into a larger story. This installment sees the introduction of light elves, which apparently are at odds with the dark elves. It feels like each short story randomly adds new rules to the elven world.

As for the romance, the male narration is a bit stilted but the light vs dark plot helps sell the HEA. This one had more promise, but ultimately gives the least satisfying nooky, namely because it’s like 30 seconds of “that’s it”?
