A must read for every married couple at least once

It was a very good read. I was genuinely surprised by how much valuable information was contained in once such short book.

I would highly recommend every partner in a couple to read this book at least once in their lifetime.

Informative and yet Coy

The FAQ's chapter at the end of the book was proabably the most helpful and I will likely reference in the future. Most of the text seems to Center on how to stimulate the clitortois. This is helpful and important, but it is almost as if the whole book revolves around it. Or maybe those were the only sections that really caught my attention or because there was so much reference to it from the very beginning of the book.... Also, I was expecting more of a "no holds barred" approach but almost felt the authors were being coy about the subject at times. Very impressive how the entire gospel presentation was weaved into the text. If an unbeliever was to read this book, it is entirely possible that by the time they finished it they would accept Christ as all the information needed to do so is provided.

narrator

I thought that the narrator/s could be more effective if a male narrated Tim's contribution while a female narrated Bev's contribution.

Excellent and well presented

The information was presented very well and not at all in a dirty way as some of these books might present the subject. Very beneficial.

Like getting sex advice from your 95 year old Gran

This is a super old school look at sex. Lots of strange-to-me topics like "is oral sex morally ok?" and outdated narrow minded views on what women "really want" out of life.
What I did like was the validation of what works for women to reach organism during sex...think clitoral stimulation start to finish and not a lot of penis pounding. I think if husbands took the time to really follow the steps outlined in some chapters, that women would reach orgasm every time they had sex. I was a teen in the 90's so I was fed that sex was about women being sexy and men getting off. So, in a way I did get some insight from this book, although it was purely out of lack of other books to read that I even came close to finishing this book. It was dreadfully cringeworthy a lot of times. For example they site a bunch of "studies" that are not true at all and only serve to confirm their Christian bias and preset beliefs.
You reeeeaaaaly have to put on your "age filtering" goggles to get through this book, much like letting a lot of un-PC words slide when you're talking to your 95 year old Grandmother. The authors were born in 1926 and 1929 so that can give you an idea of the dinosaur like crap you have to wade through.
All in all if you're a homeschooler raised in a super religious home, and you're about to get married you might be comfortable with this book to start off your sex ed. Just know it's rife with laughable male views of the time, female views of the time and Christian views of the time.
