About this listen

The last thing Jenna Riley needs is more sports in her life. While her brothers are off being athletic superstars, she's stuck running the family's sports bar, whether she likes it or not. Then, in walks pro hockey stud Tyler Anderson. As much as Jenna would like to go to the boards with him, she's vowed to never fall for a jock - even one as hot as Ty.

Ty, intrigued by the beautiful bar owner, becomes a regular. He senses that Jenna wants to do something more with her life. And as he gains her trust, the passion between them grows, as does Ty's insistence that Jenna should start living for herself. With his encouragement, Jenna starts to believe it, too.But first, Jenna has to figure out what she wants, what she needs, who she loves, and if she has the passion and pride to take a shot at having it all - including Ty.

Great sex!

So refreshing to read an author who writes great sex so often. I could feel the passion between the characters as if it were my own. The characters also had a great story line outside of the sex. I'll be looking for more from Jaci.

Falling in love or lust?

The cover convinced me to get this book, yep, watching that HOT male body while listening to a contemporary romance story was exactly what I wanted. And although the story was ok I did not love it. The heroine was annoying and her constant whining got to me. The overall plot of this story was underwhelming and I did not believe the romance. The couple had lots of hot sex but I did not see the love developing... The narrator was ok too. Did not add much emotion to the story, but then again, it was not that emotional anyway... I guess I was expecting a hot sports and romance story like the one from Rachel Gibson but this one was all about sex...

Last Reilly sibling finds love and courage to reach for her dreams....

Jenna runs the family sports bar but dreams of being a singer. She avoids most dates especially with sports figures....until Tyler. The story starts slow and most of the drama is about fear and self worth. Lucy Malone is ok but another maridcould

It Was A Close Miss

Characters were great, narrator was superb, but story started dragging towards the end. Otherwise it would have deserved 5 stars.

Loved it!

Love how Jenna is a strong willed women yet she relents in the bedroom. She knows she's a women and yet can hold her own. Ty is a manly man and don't bow down to her...Well worth the credit. Narrator was spot on. Can not wait for the next book.

Hot Hockey!

Love this erotica with a side of love story and hockey! The characters develop nicely together and the background of the families.

must love hockey

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

oh, yes,

What did you like best about this story?

different spin on erotic love story. This is hot and maybe the best of the 3 stories. Listening to #2 soon

Would you be willing to try another one of Lucy Malone’s performances?

the author's works will determine the buy. Julie James, Karen White took me over after 2 difference stories, but there were so much humor in the stories, to be fair. So I can only hope Ms Malone will do the same.

Take a shot with a great listen

This is book 3 of the series. The series is Taking a shot.
Hero is Tyler. Heroine is Riley
Tyler is a hockey player and bet friends with Riley’s brothers. Even though Riley’s brothers play in a different sport. Tyler plays hockey and the older brother plays football (book 1) the other brother plays baseball (book 2) .
Tyler keeps on visiting the bar that is family owned and it’s not only for the chicken wings and beer . Can it be also for Riley.
Riley is not willing to take a chance on a player or is she

Love Lucy as a narrator. I have listened to her plenty of times and she’s amazing

Taking A Shot

This family! Jenna is the only girl in the family and she has been running the family sports bar since her big brothers play pro sports, one football and the other baseball. This is not her dream but she will work it anyway to keep it in the family. She has met her match, though, in Tyler Anderson, the newest hockey player in town. The only problem, she wants nothing to do with any man who plays sports. That is until he convinces her otherwise. When he finds out her secrets will he be able to help her accomplish her dream? Definitely enjoyed this one! Still looking forward to more!
